CNN is reporting that Sir Isaac Newton of gravity fame also predicted the end of the world based on calculations derived from the bible and other hebrew texts.
By his own estimations, the world will end no earlier than 2060. That doesn’t mean that it will end in 2060, but that it won’t end before then. That’s a relief.
This news also proves something that I’ve thought for years. If the world does end in 2060, that will be 53 years in the future. I’m currently 28, which means I’ll be 81 years old if I’m alive at all.
Based on my family history, I doubt that I will live that long. Clearly, my death will be so impactful on the world that it will start to deteriorate leading up to the 2060 armageddon.
Excuse me. I have some lightning to dodge.
Maybe it’s 2061?
I’d like to pose another theory. Isaac Newton may be old, but it was the ancient Mayans who believed that 2012 will be the end of the world; or perhaps just the date of a world changing event. And unless I’ve done my math wrong you will be 33.
Pardon me I have some lightning of my own to dodge.
